  • Mark Atwood: still hacking on a bloom storage engine, its a fun little project

  • Mark Atwood: all the C implementations for bloom ive found online suck maybe i will fix them and submit back patches
  • Me: hmm i'll have to think of a good use for a mysql bloom engine to demo once you're done
  • Mark Atwood: this is one of those things that i cant think of a use myself, but im sure people will find a use for it

  • i've always wanted to make a backwards image search
  • basically if you have an image you upload it to my site and it will then tell you where the image came from
  • so since i'll have a database of EVERY IMAGE ON THE INTERNET
  • i'll need to test if the image exists efficiently

  • damn, i hate it when I spell genius wrong when I refer to myself
