Sometimes I’m sad that I can’t search people’s tumblrs. I’m sure this is a feature in the works, but today I was impatient and bored. These two things combined prompted me to script up a little javascript search using the tumblr API. As you can see on my tumblr site
www.jacobd.com I have a little search box, as you type results will pop up! It’s not perfect, and only tested in firefox, camino and safari on a mac. I think I will clean it up a bit and write up some instructions on how to include it on your tumblr page too!
