Two tumblrs on one page
A little while ago I helped my sister out by setting up a website so she can easily post her latest paintings. Naturally I signed her up for tumblr and bought a domain, took me all of 10 minutes to set up a site for her. I found a nice theme that works well as a portfolio for photography (http://hasaportfolio.com/) but I wanted Heather to have the ability to post text, links, videos etc just like any other regular tumblelog. So basically I set up a group for her to post her non portfolio content to, then used a little special markup + javascriptery to display the other content as well as another link to follow her content.
Sketchup Wishlist
Playing around with sketchup today, mocking up an idea for the conference room door. I started to check out the animation features of sketchup, excited to show how the sliding door would work. To my dismay I find that the animation is basically just panning the camera around from scene to scene. That makes me sad. So my first official sketchup wish is for simple tweening functionality between scenes. The build-out of the Spaceship Collabo office is underway! We have some really amazing design ideas and we’re super excited.
The anticipation for the new office is driving me crazy. I can envision how its going to be and it makes me really excited. It’s going to be such a fun place to work and get the creative juices flowing. Construction starts this weekend and pics will be posted soon!
